History of the company and the way forward.

The history of WIEDEN s.r.o. began in 1991, and since its foundation, the company has specialized in the design and realization of atypical glass facades. In addition to the traditional domestic market, FENESTRA WIEDEN s.r.o. focuses on activities in Northern Europe, where it successfully completed its first project in 2006.

Another milestone came in 2019, when a new majority owner, ARX Equity Partners, joined the company. At the same time, part of Skanska a.s. was acquired, namely the LOP (facades plant) based in Prague – Horní Počernice.

In January 2020, the companies merged under the WIEDEN s.r.o. brand and since October 1, 2025, the company has been part of the GEMO a.s. group.
